Dr. Armen Sedrakian,
Group leader
Armen Sedrakian holds a PhD from Yerevan State University (Armenia) and Habilitation from Tübingen University (Germany). He is based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where he is a Fellow at the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies.

Dr. Daniel Baghdasaryan,
Scientist
Daniel has been at Byurakan Observatory since 2015 and joined the group in 2018. He holds a PhD from Yerevan State University. His PhD work was focused on the superfluid properties of neutron stars.

Dr. Arus Harutyunyan,
Scientist
Arus joined the group in 2018 after completing her PhD at Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, with summa cum laude on “Relativistic Hydrodynamics and Transport in Strongly Correlated Systems”.

Dr. Mekhak Hayrapetyan,
Senior Scientist
Mekhak is based at Yerevan State University. He has received PhD from Yerevan State University in 1996 and has been active in the field of compact objects since then. His past and current work is focused on the superfluid properties of neutron stars and generation of gravitational waves by compact stars.
